Aryan Khan vs Sameer Wankhede

Sameer Wankhede, heard this name? He is the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director heading the probe in Aryan Khan’s drug matter.

In 2013, he worked as Deputy Commissioner – Customs, and during that time he detained Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor for custom violations at Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. He also caught singer Mika Singh with foreign currency.

Later in 2020, Wankhede led the investigation of the drug consumption probe by NCB following the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. This case also revealed several other names from Bollywood including Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Deepika Padukone.

His team recently arrested Arjun Rampal's model-girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades's brother Agisilaos in Goa in a drugs case. He has booked more than 2,000 VIPs for not paying the taxes. In the last two years after Wankhede joined NCB, drugs worth Rs 17,000 crore were seized by the agency. For tax evasion, he has registered cases against more than 200 Bollywood celebrities so far

Do you see what is common in all these cases? Bollywood! And now, the total Bollywood has turned against him and started shamelessly supporting Aryan Khan with uncanny love. Nawab Malik, cabinet minister of the ruling State Government of Maharashtra started accusations against Sameer Wankhede.

Let me add, Malik’s son-in-law got bail after serving 8 months in Jail under a drug case. 200 Kgs of cannabis was found with him. Malik claims that Sameer Wankhede made false accusations by showing 200kgs of tobacco as cannabis. He is in the ruling party, if the allegation were wrong, don’t you think it would have been a cakewalk to bring him out?

Nawab Malik said to the media, "CM Uddhav Thackeray has informed me that he is worried about the Hindi film industry being portrayed in a negative light. He is going to write to PM Modi about this. The raids have maligned the image of the film industry".

His other allegations on Wankhede:

A letter from an “anonymous team” member alleging Sameer Wankhede framed innocent people in 26 fake drug cases. Seriously, should this be considered as proof?

Sameer is a Hindu but has a fake certificate as a Hindu to get a job in the Indian Revenue Service! arey Sameer clearly announced that his father was Hindu and mother was a Muslim and he is a Hindu married to a Muslim wife. Look at his track records, why does he need a fake certificate to get a job? I mean don’t you get better proofs to demean someone? And what has religion got to do when he's doing his job as an Indian? Now, Sameer Wankhede is accused of taking bribes in Aryan Khan’s case. It is a deal of 25 crores.

Mr. Gosavi, the private detective, accepted that he had planned to ask for ₹ 25 crores from SRK's manager Pooja Dadlani and settle on 18 crores, of which 8 crores was to be paid to Sameer Wankhede. This discussion was overheard by the car driver.

Two things here,

1. This statement doesn’t say Sameer Wankhede asked for a bribe. No proof.
2. Just 8 crores to leave Aryan Khan, that’s it? What nonsense is this? I guess the driver couldn't think of a bigger number and there was no access to guide him.

Are we fools to think Bollywood who was caught several times by Wankhede never attempted to bribe him more than this amount? But, he never stopped, did he? Everyone paid the price. Jamia shooter got bail after ‘hate speech’ but Aryan did not. What is this comparison? Drugs and hate speeches comparable? Look at videos of Owaisi who keeps giving hate speeches and here is Sharukh khan’s hate speech on India.

In fact, he changed the protagonist's name from Mir Ranjan Negi to Kabir Khan in Chak de. He even made a statement ‘Says Pakistani players should be picked in IPL’. And then Amir Khan, he makes friends with anti-nationals. What about them, why are they never arrested?

Coming Back to Aryan’s case, there is prima facie material in the form of WhatsApp chats that show that Aryan Khan was constantly in contact with persons dealing with prohibited narcotic substances.

ASG (Additional Solicitor General of India) Anil Singh said: "Aryan Khan is not taking drugs only once... the statement that has been received shows he used to consume it for the last few years. Drugs have been found from Arbaaz Merchant (Aryan's friend, from whom six grams of charas were seized) ... Aryan was with him."

"When the IO (investigating officer) asked if he had drugs, Arbaaz said he had drugs in his shoes... Arbaaz admitted that both he and Aryan Khan were going to consume it on the cruise." The court concluded that through this, the drugs were in “conscious possession” of both the accused. When the main accused Arbaaz Merchant is admitting the charges, what new proof is required? Aryan got arrested and the case is closed.

But, oh my God, it is Aryan Khan and he needs to be saved, and the focus got shifted towards Sameer Wankhede. Two people got bail in the case, the court order explained that there was no prima-facie material that they (Rajgaria and Sahu) were part of any larger network and there was evidence of conspiracy.

Advocate Yasmeen Wankhede, the sister of Sameer Wankhede wrote to the Women Commission requesting to "safeguard her constitutional rights as a woman" as Nawab Malik has been sharing her photos from her social media profiles to substantiate his allegations against Sameer Wankhede. How much can these people fall?

Aryan Khan was arrested on Oct 3rd, 2021 and Nawab Malik started allegations on Oct 25th, 2021. Why the delay if the allegations were true, and why did he not bring them up when his son-in-law was in jail from January 2021 to September 2021. I guess he waited for support from Khans. A staged drama!

Finally on October 28th, he got bail. Sameer Wankhede has become a Scapegoat now. He's being attacked by the Maharashtra government. "I am being personally attacked by the state. My apprehension is that the state will arrest me any day. I want interim protection in the form of no coercive relief," Wankhede told Bombay high court.

Khan won! But the game isn't over yet. The Bombay high court on 28th October said that 3 days notice will be given to him by the Mumbai Police. Sameer Wankhede also requested for CBI or NIA probe into the case but it got rejected.

Is this called justice? Will he win the fight? Is this the raise or fall of a sincere officer? Sameer Wankhede is the real hero for us, and it's the need of the hour to save him. Let us be responsible, spread the truth and protect a real hero.
